Terms of service
Effective October 11, 2026
These terms cover your use of Moxie Miles, a service of InSite Forge, Inc. (“we”). There are two kinds of users: shops that run a rewards program, and members who join a shop’s program. By using the service you agree to these terms.
For members
- Each rewards program is run by the shop you joined. The shop sets how rewards are earned, what they’re worth, and when they expire, and can change its program.
- Points, punches, credit and coupons have no cash value, can’t be sold or transferred, and can only be used at the shop that issued them.
- Rewards expire if you don’t visit for the period the shop sets. We’ll try to remind you before they do.
- If a visit is refunded or corrected, rewards earned on it may be removed.
- Questions about a reward or a visit go to the shop. Questions about the service itself come to us at the contact details in your account.
For shops
- You’re responsible for your program’s rules, for honoring rewards your staff issue, and for the accuracy of what staff enter.
- You own your member list. You can download it any time, and we process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy.
- You agree to send marketing texts only to members who gave consent through the service, and to follow the text message terms.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly per location in advance through Stripe and renew until canceled. You can cancel any time from Billing; service continues to the end of the paid month. Fees already paid aren’t refunded except where the law requires.
- If a payment fails and isn’t fixed, we may pause your shop’s screens until it is. Members’ cards keep working during a pause.
- When you cancel, you can export your members. We delete your shop’s data 90 days after cancellation.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to send spam, to mislead members, to collect data you don’t need, or to break any law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Wallet cards depend on Apple and Google, and text messages on mobile carriers, which we don’t control. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we’ll tell shops in advance.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is,” and our total liability to a shop is limited to the fees it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses.
